I haven’t made too much progress on my goals. Hopefully I will be able to get a little more done next week.
Progress:
7. Learn to cook - My boyfriend and I cooked lunch together a couple of times this past week. My boyfriend did most of the work, but I am learning.
17. Read at least 143 books- I’ve read two books so far. A Vintage Affair and The Problem With Murmur Lee.
19. Watch at least 143 movies- I watched Kick Ass with my boyfriend the other night.
77. Eat at 5 restaurants that I haven’t eaten at before- I ate a British style pub in our neighborhood that I have wanted to eat at since it opened. The food was really good and I will definitely be back.
83. Learn to read tarot cards proficiently. I gave myself a tarot card reading. I didn’t understand everything, but it was still enlightening. I am going to try to do a single card reading every day until I am familiar with the cards.
86. Create monthly to do lists and complete everything by the end of the month for at least one year.- I created a to–do list for the month and I already have 3 things crossed of it.
This week I am going to try to start working on getting fit. I don’t really need to lose weight, although I certainly wouldn’t mind losing a couple pounds. What I mostly need to work on is toning up and improving my cardio endurance. This week I am going to weigh myself, take some measurements, and give myself some fitness tests. From there I can decide exactly what “fit” is for me and have a way to measure my progress.

I meant to post my list on the 1st because that is my start date, but I’ve been busy so I am just posting it now. I’ve decided that for every goal that I fail I will donate $2 dollars to an organization that I abhor such as the Republican Party. I decided to donate to an organization that I didn’t like because I thought it would be more motivating; I really don’t want to give the republicans my money! I may change some of my goals, but my rule is that I can only change a goal to one that is just as hard or harder to accomplish than the one it is replacing. Making a goal easier so I can complete it and avoid giving the republicans money is not allowed. I also left three empty reserved spots to fill in later.
During the challenge I am going to try not to spend money on anything other than necessities and stuff related to my 101 goals. I am not going to penalize myself if I don’t stick to it. It is actually more of a strategy to reach my savings and other money related goals.
Well without further ado here is my list:

I've created this LJ primarily to keep track of my progress on my Mission 101 Project. For those of you who aren't familiar with mission 101 you make a list of 101 goals that you would like to accomplish in the next 1001 days (approximately 2.75 years) and then complete them in the 1001 days. For a better description you can go to the Day Zero website. I have my list pretty much done, but I might make a few small changes before my start date which is August 1st. I will put my list up then if not sooner.
In addition to keeping track of my progress on my Mission 101 Project I will also post about goal setting, self improvement, and other related topics. I am going to try to post at least once a week, but when my life gets hectic, as it tends to, I may not be able to post as much.
